French Film Club

French Film Club

Feock Church Hall is the perfect venue for our monthly French film. Comfortable chairs, an excellent sound system, a big screen, and the sea down the path if you fancy a walk before or after the film.

All the films are shown in French with English subtitles so no need to be a French speaker to enjoy them.  We watch a wide variety of genres from comedies, romcoms, historical dramas and classics. They will hopefully broaden your understanding of French culture, sometimes prompt a lively discussion, and hopefully always make you spend a very enjoyable afternoon.

We meet each last Wednesday of the month at 13:30.

I tend to choose films which I have enjoyed, and sometimes other members suggest one they would like to watch. I very much enjoy sharing aspects of French culture with fellow members.

A few examples of films we have watched:

The student and Mr Henri

Après vous

Le Havre

Le boucher

Les diaboliques

Au revoir les enfants

Untouchables

The well-digger’s daughter
